I’ve Dropped my Hat

I’ve Dropped my Hat is a collection of 30 hand knitted hats. The concept behind this installation came to life through Snaden’s examination of what system means to her. Asking herself how she uses and sees systems, what systems she is active in and so on.

Relating directly to Snaden’s stress relieving system, this piece is simply what it is, many hand made hats presented upright on the floor. There are no bunnies hiding in these hats. This piece is more a documentation of what her system produces than anything else. In I’ve Dropped my Hat Snaden values the act of making, over what was made, the production over the product, and the process over the result.
